Im staying in sheppey for a couple of days wth family :(

so gonna take some coarse tackle to slip off for a days fishing, I have noticed rivers/drains on there and wondered if anyone knows anything about them.. who runs or owns them/ where to get permission/ What sort of fish are there etc
Also noticed what looks like a load of lakes at the southwest end...

Any info welcomed.....

I noticed a fishery over there a few years ago called stones fishery. There's some info here http://www.fisheries.co.uk/stones/index.htm. When i called into the place it was full up though and looked a bit like a garden centre from memory. Could be a possibility though :D

Think most of the C are owned by the RSPB and your not allowed to fish them mate.

Also, if you get down to Laysdown on a saturday night mate - there's loads of "Dyke's" mate and they are also out of bounds to you. Mind you, they may well take an interest in your wife
