No ideas about tactics yet, the normal boilie approach is the most cost effective for me......mostly because I have some in the freezer lol!!!

When we fished it back in November Andee fished with maggots and after the initial day of socialising, he put a lot of effort in. He ended up with a couple of lovely carp but also had a bream or two (I think) and a 6lb eel.
I went with boilies and had one out
I reckon either way will hopefully put a few on the bank. That said, this time round, there will be a lot more lines in the water
