Any idea what's happened with Burghfield river? The website is a bit confusing as it says one of the "lots" is sold but its unclear whether that includes the river or who has bought it? x

Not a clue yet.

The bailiffing team has been dismissed at Alresford and the venue locked up. :(

Arlesford closed as a venue in Sept. Venezuela just changed the locks, didn't even tell the head bailiff. He knew it would be Sept, but no date. My mates a (was a) bailiff on there, the head bailiff Tim (timbo who does the Armed Forces Carp Classic) rang him on the morning they changed them, because he was going to do a session on there... LOL

Ringwood Angling have got Rockford

With regards Burghfield there is a diagram on the fenn wright site explaining it all, lot a is the main lake, lot b is the Blue pool and match lake and lot c is the river. Only the Main lake has sold so far.

Westhampnet is now owned by the sailing club owner

I wonder if whoever got Jones Pit will try and buy the abandoned petrol station, demolish it and build a house, that is what I would do. I could live with the noise of the a5 if it meant owning my old lake.

Some more sobering information coming out of Horton.

Kingsmead 3 (Back Lake): Planning application in to backfill the lake.
Kingsmead 1: Working pit and angling likely to continue as long as it makes commercial sense/H&S doesn't get in the way.

This is expected to be for 2-3 years.

Match lake will be drained to see what stocks in it will then have new swims restocked and turned into a day ticket water ,he was over at blue pool telling anglers his plans fortnight ago , we will see in January

Here's a map of the Yateley waters showing where they are and FAS' lakes. They are creating two new complexes: FAS Yateley East and FAS Yateley South:

Are Advanced Angling and RK leisure the same company as the Chertsey listing suggests?

I was under the impression Advanced Angling had Burghfield and Chertsey and RK leisure have Jones Pit and Wraysbury 1 & 2.

If the posts on the anglers forum are to be believed......

Wraysbury two....... Closed indefinitely

Wraysbury one........ Closed, fenced, being worked on - and stocked with 400 stockies

As for Burghfield, Advanced Angling have 7 swims, fishing rights on the rest of it have not yet been established.

Chertsey is being run by Cemex again.
